Other artists and famous faces set to appear during the concert include Gavin Rossdale, Macy Gray, Peter Frampton, Duran Duran, Atticus Ross, Lena Hall, Michael C. Hall, and supergroup Ground Control (made up of Slipknot‘s Corey Taylor, Foo Fighters‘ Taylor Hawkins and Jane’s Addiction‘s Dave Navarro and Chris Chaney).
The one-night-only experience will also feature Bowie’s longtime producer Tony Visconti and members of his final touring band.
Bowie’s final album, Blackstar, was released on his birthday in January 2016 — just two days before his tragic passing from liver cancer at the age of 69. The album, the rock icon’s 25th, was the only LP of his career to top the Billboard 200 and would go on to win five awards at the 2017 Grammys, including best alternative music album, best rock performance and best rock song.
